PC 753 Tony TESTER, after serving 9 years with the Metropolitan Police Service in London, he transferred to Dorset Police in June 1996. Since joining Dorset Police he has worked in Uniform Patrol at North Bournemouth (Winton), the Marine Section at Poole and the Safer Neighbourhood Team at Ferndown, until becoming Chairman of the Dorset Police Federation.

PC Tester has been involved with the Dorset Police Federation since being elected as a workplace representative in June 2010. Since January 2014 he has held the full-time post of Chairman of the Joint Branch Board. He is also specially trained to deal with equality and H&S issues on behalf of the Federation and its members.

As Chairman, PC Tester is responsible for representing the views of the membership at local and national level to ensure that the welfare and efficiency of the members and Dorset Police are championed at all times. This includes engaging with the Police & Crime Commissioner for Dorset; the Chief Constable of Dorset Police; and representatives of the general public such as Members of Parliament and Local Councillors. In addition he is the focal point of contact for press and media enquiries.

Sgt 868 Tony EGGLESTON joined Dorset Police in March 1989. He has been based at a number of stations across the county with the majority of his service in uniform as a sergeant. In addition he has experience of Custody, Dogs, and Professional Standards.

Sgt Eggleston has been involved with the Dorset Police Federation since being elected as a workplace representative in August 2004. Since November 2012 he has held the full-time post of Secretary of the Joint Branch Board. He is also specially trained to deal with discipline, equality, and H&S issues on behalf of the Federation and its members.

As Secretary, Sgt Eggleston is responsible for the day to day running of the Joint Branch Board. This involves: engaging with Dorset Police at all levels to achieve optimum solutions for members; supporting individual members with complex and difficult issues; and ensuring that matters relating to members are dealt with in a correct and prompt manner. In addition he is responsible for the overall management of the Dorset Police Federation Insurance Scheme.

Insp 1852 Kevin LANSDALE, after serving 14 years with Hampshire Constabulary, he transferred to Dorset Police in April 2001. Since joining Dorset Police he has primarily worked in the Crime & Criminal Justice Division and latterly as a Critical Incident Inspector at Weymouth. In addition he has experience of Professional Standards.

Insp Lansdale has been involved with the Dorset Police Federation since being elected as a workplace representative in May 2005. Since January 2011 he has held the part-time post of Treasurer of the Joint Branch Board. He is also specially trained to deal with discipline, equality, and H&S issues on behalf of the Federation and its members.

As Treasurer, Insp Lansdale is responsible for the day to day finances of the Dorset Police Federation and ensuring that the JBB Funds are administered in accordance with the Police Federation Regulations 1969 (as amended). In addition he is accountable to the JBB Fund Trustees who have overall legal control and oversight of the funds.
